The Inclusive Enterprise Podcast Celebrates Mental Health Month

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the mental health of people of all ages. It is critical to reduce the stigma around mental health struggles, because that stigma often prevents individuals from seeking help.

Just in time for Mental Health Month, Inclusive Leaders Group is launching The Inclusive Enterprise Podcast, intended as the freshest and most innovative diversity and inclusive leadership podcast for professionals, leaders and organizations transforming business toward innovation and profitable growth through diversity and inclusion.

Episode 2 -The Stigma of Mental Health: and The Next Diversity and Inclusion Initiative features Craig Kramer, the Mental Health Ambassador and Chair, of the Global Campaign on Mental Health for Johnson & Johnson Company.

He describes J&J history, strategy, building the case and incredible success of addressing Mental Health as Diversity and Inclusion matter.

In just a few short years, Johnson and Johnson’s Mental Health Diplomats Employee Resource Group (ERG) has membership grown to more than 1000 employees in 32 countries, aligning and supporting a strategy to attract and retain diverse talent.

Mental health and diversity and inclusion (D&I) are more intricately connected than you might think. As employers deepen their focus on D&I and racial justice, they should ensure employees from diverse backgrounds have the mental health support they need, from employee resource groups to counseling services to mental health screening tools.
