As Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Brian is focused on expanding the firm’s offerings by delivering thought leadership and developing proprietary content, and he keeps the consulting team abreast of industry insights and trends. In addition, he helps to ensure that Inclusive Leaders Group consultants deliver high-quality, best-practice solutions in the areas of diversity and inclusion, human capital consulting, and talent development services. Brian also works directly with clients in the areas of strategic organizational development, leadership development, and executive coaching.
Brian focuses on Inclusive Leaders Group strategic marketing, client experience quality, and social media. He produces the firm’s Inclusive Enterprise Podcast and Inclusive Growth Blog. As a disabled Black man navigating work and life in a wheelchair, he is keenly aware of the equity, diversity and inclusion challenges and solutions in the workplace and society.
He has been an active leader in the creation and implementation of marketing and business development for Fortune 500 Companies, National Football League, as well as midsize firms. His human capital management experience includes Personnel Decisions International (PDI), now Korn Ferry a global organizational consulting firm, synchronizing strategy and talent to drive superior performance for corporate clients. Prior to that he managed strategic client relations and sales for Global Knowledge Network Inc. an information technology company offering online IT and professional training, certification courses, team training, cybersecurity, blockchain, cloud computing, and project management services to corporate students worldwide
Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University where he met his wife and soulmate, Charlotte F. Hughes. He later earned the Johnson & Johnson Leadership Award Scholarship at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business MBA Program as a precursor to his Marketing career.
