Cheryl Locke is an organizational change agent and diversity and inclusion strategist with more than twenty-five years of experience leading organizations in HR and Diversity and inclusion. At Inclusive Leaders Group, Cheryl specializes in helping hospitals, health systems, and healthcare organizations navigate through the development of strategic plans that address issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior to joining Inclusive Leaders Group, Cheryl served almost 9 years as VP and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and VP and Chief Human Resources Officer roles for Wake Forest Baptist Health. She previously distinguished herself in CHRO positions with the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Cheryl is nationally recognized as an expert in building cross-cultural relationships through meaningful engagement. She has the unique ability to bring together people of all backgrounds to engage in difficult conversations resulting in organizational change.
Cheryl designs global diversity and inclusion strategic initiatives and leads workshops, seminars, and leadership development programs. She is experienced in providing coaching, team development, and cultural change management programs for higher education and healthcare organizations.
Cheryl also founded her own family consultancy to design workshops on the topics of Human Resources and diversity with specific expertise in healthcare. Cheryl earned her BA in Sociology from Brown University.
